Dr Akshay Shah is the director of Conquer cancer day care center.He has experience of more than 15 years in the field of oncology. He studied DNB oncology from jaslok hospital . He then went to Seattle, USA to pursue fellowship in Stern cell transpalnt.
During his training in India And USA he has been part of more than 320 transplants which include autologous, allogenic and cord transplants .He has independently done various autologous and allogenic transplant with more than 70% success rate. He has treated various carcinomas, sarcoma, melanomas and bone tumors.
Patients benefit from his vast experience and immense knowledge with all the recent treatment approaches. He has special interest in more challenging blood cancers .
Many patients of Acute leukemia have been completely cured . With his sharp clinical acumen and advanced knowledge patients from all strata can be benefitted which includes newer advances in the treatment of cancer like immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
